It has become apparent that certain companies are importing 'NON' approved Icom marine radios, both HF and VHF - What we mean by 'Non' Approved is that they are not 'Type Approved' by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) for use in Australia. This means that they are illegal to use in any way.

These radios, are also NOT backed by Icom Australia - hence NO Icom warranty or back-up service is available.
